Double victory for Held in the MOTORRAD readers’ poll

In the MOTORRAD readers’ poll for “Motorcycle of the Year 2025”, the BEST BRANDS in the motorcycle industry were once again selected in the accessories and services categories. We are delighted to be able to celebrate a double victory this year – we took 1st place in both the textile clothing and gloves categories! We would like to thank all our voters, because without you this result would not have been possible.

We are particularly proud of the result for gloves: with an approval rating of 71%, we were not only able to defend our top position – it is the best result in our history!

We are also making a big difference in textile clothing: 49.6% approval means almost every second vote – a significant increase of 8% compared to the previous year!

And we also remain on course for success in the other core categories:

  • 3rd place for airbag vests
  • 3rd place for leather clothing – with an increase of over 20% compared to the previous year’s survey!
  • 4th place for boots – a consistently strong ranking over the years.

The result: Held is among the top places in all important categories. A top result for which we would like to thank all participants in the readers’ choice 2025!

 

CATEGORY GLOVES

With 71% of the votes, we achieved the best result in the company’s history in our main discipline of “motorcycle gloves”, winning the “BEST BRAND” award for motorcycle gloves for the 20th time in a row.

CATEGORY TEXTILE CLOTHING

The result in the textile clothing category is also unsurpassed. For the 11th time in a row, we won the BEST BRAND award and were able to convince 49.6% of all readers with our textile combinations. Our wide range of different textile combinations with different membrane concepts for adventurers and tourers convinced you. Thank you for your trust!

2 spots on the podium in “Airbag systems” and “Leather clothing”

Our airbag systems achieved a solid third place, reducing the gap to second place to less than 8 percentage points.

Since last year, Held’s product range has not only included airbag systems for use in road traffic and occasionally on the race track, but also a new “performance” airbag system, the eVest Pro, which is specially tailored to the needs of racing on closed circuits or rallies.

We made significant gains in the leather clothing category, moving up from 4th place to the podium. The gap to first place has shrunk to just 3 percentage points.

With the Slade II and Brands Hatch one-piece suits, we have two top-equipped one-piece suits in our range which, thanks to certification in the highest possible protection class AAA, are ideal for use both on the road and on the race track. Both one-piece suits are also compatible with the eVest and eVest Pro airbag vests.

We are also delighted to be able to continue our consistently strong performance of recent years with 4th place in the boots category. Whether GORE-TEX, Sympatex or Held-Tex membrane.
