As a manufacturer of motorcycle and protective workwear, it is our responsibility to achieve and continuously renew the industry-relevant certificates and accreditations. Here, quality and environmental protection are our top priorities. Thus, our quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001, our environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and all products according to the respective EN standards.
Together with our customers, we define the benchmark for the quality of our products and services. There is a continuous further development of our products and processes. Every employee and supplier has a high quality awareness, which is reflected in our quality in all areas. We thus ensure the satisfaction of our customers.
At Held, we combine a passion for motorcycle clothing with responsibility for people and the environment – sustainability is not a trend for us, but a promise. Durability, resource-conserving production and fair working conditions are core values of our actions, because real quality not only protects motorcyclists, but also our planet.
Our motorbike clothing is designed to provide the rider with a protective function without affecting their mobility while riding. It is designed to protect against the exact risks that can occur during different riding activities. For example, a rider who rides on a racetrack needs different protection than touring and adventure riders. That is why the EN 17092 1-6 series of standards distinguishes a total of five protective classes of motorbike clothing and defines basic performance requirements for each class.
ISO certification describes the process by which a company, institution or authority obtains a certificate of conformity confirming that ISO standards are met. ISO certification can be carried out for sub-areas, individual operating sites or entire organisations. In our case, the areas of quality management are certified according to ISO 9001 and environmental management according to ISO 14001.
