Our commitment
An overview of the measures we have already implemented:
Environmental and energy management:
Our environmental management system is certified to DIN ISO 14001.
We record our resource consumption annually in a CO2 footprint.
On the roof of our headquarters in Burgberg-Erzflöße, we operate a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 95 kWp.
On the roof of our Held flagship store in Sonthofen, we operate a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 100 kWp.
We are gradually converting our vehicle fleet to hybrid and electric vehicles.
We have installed seven charging stations for electric vehicles at our headquarters, as well as one charging station each at our logistics centre in Kempten and our flagship store in Sonthofen.
Conservation of resources:
Our shipping boxes are made from 100% recycled material.
We limit the thresholds for subsequent deliveries and thereby bundle our shipments.
We save paper by digitalising customer invoices.
For 95% of our shipments, we currently finance CO2 compensation projects.*
We operate our own repair department for our products, thereby ensuring a long product life cycle.
*This is not a statement that our products or the entire supply chain are climate-neutral.
We only use till receipts made of thermal paper.
The packaging filling material we use is made from recycled paper.
We reuse cardboard boxes that are in good condition.
Animal welfare:
We work exclusively with certified leather suppliers who verify the origin and supply chain of the leather.
Sustainable employer:
We clean our buildings with environmentally friendly cleaning agents.
We offer our employees JobRad bike leasing.
We transport our employees between our headquarters and the logistics centre with a company-owned shuttle.
Partnerships / cooperations:
Every year, we take part in the PATRON e.V. | Challenge Müllfreies Allgäu | Patron (patron-nature.org) and organise a joint litter-picking campaign.
Social commitment:
Every year, we donate to associations and aid organisations such as Musikkapelle Burgberg e.V., Johanniter Unfall Hilfe e.V., the Bavarian Red Cross – Oberallgäu district association and TSV Burgberg e.V.
