for a sustainable future

In order to set ourselves clear and measurable targets for sustainable development, we track our emissions in an annual carbon footprint.

Scope 1 includes all direct greenhouse gas emissions that originate from sources that are owned or controlled by a company. This includes, for example, emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels in boilers, vehicles or industrial processes.

Scope 2 refers to indirect emissions caused by the consumption of purchased energy such as electricity, heat or cooling. These emissions are caused by the generation of energy from external suppliers.
