Since our airbag vests should not be washed by the wearer due to the electronic components and airbag hose, we offer a comprehensive carefree package consisting of cleaning and functional testing.

The eVest is first hand-washed to remove sweat residue and light dirt. It is then subjected to a detailed functional test at our test station to ensure that all components are intact. This involves checking whether the In&Box is working properly and whether it triggers the airbag in the event of a recognized fall. In addition, the airbag hose is tested and checked for leaks.

Regular cleaning and functional testing are essential for any type of protective clothing in order to increase its lifespan and maintain its protective function.

After no more than 3 deployments of the eVest or eVest Clip-In, a full maintenance service must be carried out by our trained service personnel to ensure that the airbag vest continues to function properly.

Cleaning service: € 34.95 (GBP 31,50) plus any repair costs, shipping and return shipping
Maintenance service (after 3 deployments): € 79.95 (GBP 69,95) plus shipping and return

The airbag hose of the new eVest Pro is made of an even more durable material and, unlike the eVest and eVest Clip-in models, can withstand two additional deployments before maintenance is required. After no more than five deployments of the eVest Pro, it should be sent to the Held Service Center for inspection.
